There are so many things that go into a wedding, it can be hard to determine when you need to look for certain vendors and it can be surprising how far in advance much of the planning needs to be done. Since we do know this, we have put together a timeline to help you with this.
12 Months before the wedding

Hire a planning and/or coordinating service (like Arranged elegance!)

10 Months before the wedding

Planner/Coordinator Vendor check in

Finalize non-floral decor and necessities not provided by venue or other Vendor (ex: Cake plates, Cake Service Set, Table linens/runners, napkins, utensils, Champagne Flutes)

Initiate contact and schedule appointment for Beauty and Makeup trials​
5 Months before the wedding

Select and book Beauty vendor

Schedule Bridal pictures

Select and procure guest favors

First pass Guest seating Chart (if one is necessary)

Set up cake cutting services (if not provided my venue or other vendor)

Rehearsal dinner location selection and reservations (order and send invitations if desired)

Develop play list for DJ or submit music request to Band

Update appropriate vendors on developing guest count
4 Months before the wedding

Plan couple send off

1 Month before the wedding

Schedule review with planner/coordinator- Finalize events, rehearsal logistics, Day of schedule review, Concerns ect

Dress final fitting

Finalize Guest count

Check inventory 'needs' list

Check vendor details and final guest count confirmations; share finalized day of schedule (from planner/coordinator)

Finalize guest seating and order necessary seating signage and confirm printing (if seating chart is necessary)
